Tia Pinas-Fernandez: Hello all! I'm so excited to have this opportunity to judge all of your films! First and foremost, remember that if you even sent a video, you've done the most important part of the filmmaking process: doing!
I am a recent graduate of Oak Harbor High School, and am now attending Western Washington University. I've participated in the Northwest Film Festival and SkillsUSA Television Video Production competitions. I've placed 10th nationally for SkillsUSA and dedicated much of my high school life to Wildcat TV, a film program at OHHS. The All Girl's Film Challenge gave me confidence in the future of cinema. Find your voice in not only this competition, but in any field that you find yourself interested in. I am not currently pursuing film, but I am always open to filming and photographing.
If you have any questions you would like to direct to me, please feel free to email me at <[email protected]>
Best wishes to all of you and ALWAYS SUPPORT WOMEN FILMMAKERS!
